The entire city of Ranchi is adorned with posters proclaiming "Jharkhand Jhukega Nahin" (Jharkhand Will Not Bow Down) following the imprisonment of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The posters, featuring images of Hemant Soren along with Chief Minister Champai Soren, JMM chief Shibu Soren, and notable Jharkhand martyrs, have sparked discussions across the region.

Hemant Soren was sent to Hotwar jail on Thursday after completing a 13-day remand period in connection with an Enforcement Directorate (ED) case. The poster, laden with political symbolism, is seen as an effort to boost morale among JMM leaders, workers, and supporters while also raising questions about the implications behind its composition.

Beyond the political arena, expressions of solidarity for Hemant Soren's release are taking various forms. A fasting campaign has begun, and JMM's Nyay Yatra commenced on Thursday with workers observing a fast in the capital, extending to other districts in a phased manner.

Meanwhile, tribal women in Ranchi conducted a traditional puja at the Sarna site near Dhumkudiya Bhawan, praying for Hemant Soren's swift release. Speakers at the event accused the BJP of misusing investigating agencies, asserting that Hemant Soren's imprisonment is a result of false and baseless allegations.
